Sidi Boots Product Information / History

Sidi Boots, Sidi Sport was founded over 40 years ago by sports footwear icon, Dino Signori. Dino, along with a small staff of enthusiasts. Started by rethinking how trekking boots were made, then moved on to create the first rear entry ski boot. From there, he took the first steps in building what is today the premier brand in motorcycle boots and sidi bicycle shoes - Sidi.

Not being one to mess around, in 1969, Dino jumped into the moto industry in a big way, and aligned himself and Sidi with Italy's motorcycle hero, Giacomo Agostini, who helped Sidi advance road race footwear to new heights. At the same time, Dino signed up an outgoing Belgian, five time world champion Joel Robert. Sidi created for Robert the world's first Sidi motocross boot. This Sidi boot was sold in the USA under the brand name Full Bore, which was the premier aftermarket line in this country.

In subsequent years, the Sidi boots design team have created some of the most groundbreaking designs in motorcycle footwear. These features and Sidi's quality combine to create the finest motorcycle footwear ever made that would make Dino Signori proud.
